Robots noarchive test

This page tells crawlers not to store or show a cached copy in their search results.

When to use noarchive

Helpful for paywalled articles, licensing-restricted media, or ephemeral announcements where cached snapshots would violate terms.

Robots: content="noarchive" discourages cached copies in search results.
Expectation: crawlers may still index the URL, but should not surface a cached version link.
Validation: check search snippets after re-crawl; cached link should be absent.
